Does your body burn up everything you eat?

  • Do you love eating yummy food?

  • Does your body tell you what it needs?

  • Does your body prefer to burn fat while you rest?

If you are a foodie and if you have a sweet tooth like me, you would understand the satisfaction you get after eating a yummy dessert. Would you enjoy your dessert more if you had it guilt-free? If you knew that you were likely to burn everything you had without it turning into fat and you were not going to get out of shape for summer, would you enjoy your food even more?

If you have strong bones and muscles then just like a car your body has a bigger engine, and a bigger engine means your body will need more fuel (more food) to function. Strong bones and more muscle tissues mean a faster metabolic rate and a faster fat-burning engine! If you enjoy food, you get to eat more without it turning into fat, without you putting on extra weight.. How exciting is that?

Carbohydrates are the body’s preferred fuel source. If you regularly do high-intensity exercise, your body prefers to save carbohydrates for your intense activity and burns more fat while you rest, which means your Respiratory Quotient, which is where the calories are coming from changes. Your body prefers to burn fat over carbohydrates. You turn Yourself into a FAT BURNING & ENERGY PRODUCING MACHINE…

Does that mean that to enjoy all the yummy food, it's best to have a bigger engine in your body?

The beautiful thing about being healthy, fit and strong is that your endocrine system( hormonal system) works perfectly. Your brain and body work in sync to tell you when you are hungry and to stop eating when you are full. There is very little chance of overeating or not eating enough.

So what do we need to do to keep enjoying yummy food throughout our life?

It's a very simple process.

  • Get puffed to get fit which means overload your heart and lungs

  • Lift heavy to get strong which means overload your muscles and bones

  • Eat in moderation

  • Stay Hydrated

  • Stay positive and smile more :)

How about we give ourselves the gift of a bigger engine, incorporate high-intensity puffing and heavy lifting as part of our lifestyle and keep enjoying all the yummy food throughout the year?

Wouldn’t that be awesome?
